Job Role - Electrician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified electrician to come and join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspection and certification (EICRs)
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
- Complete job reports, test certificates and documentation accurately
- Adhere to health & safety requirements, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
- Liaise with clients, site managers and other trades professionally.
- Maintain tools, equipment and materials responsibly.
Essential Requirements- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing) – preferred
- ECS / CSCS card
- Proven experience as an electrician in the UK
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in domestic / commercial / industrial environments
- Knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV or data systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills
- Customer-focused approach
